Remember how we told you a while back that Omarosa Manigault appeared on Bethenny Frankel’s talk show and the ladies went from having a lighthearted exchange to basically verbally sparring on national television? During such an uncomfortable sit-down on TV, Manigault shared this gem with Frankel about white woman privilege:

“It’s different for you and I, I am an African American woman. You get to walk around and be mediocre and you still get rewarded with things. We have to be exceptional to get anything in this business. I wasn’t calling her mediocre, clearly she’s doing well. I am here on your show and I think that’s fantastic.”

Of course, things went down that catty road after Manigault called Frankel out for saying on The View a some time ago that she had a “real career” while Manigault didn’t. Frankel claimed that she didn’t say that, and even bet $10,000 to Manigault that she couldn’t prove those words ever came out of the talk show host’s mouth. Unfortunately, baby boo was wrong, and she had to write that check. After being on the show more than a week ago, Frankel finally coughed up the check, and Manigault spoke to Radar Online about what she was going to do with the money, and why she felt like she helped boost Frankel’s ratings for her show (even if was just a slight 33 percent):

“I never wanted to help Bethenny’s ratings. I was a life preserver for her sinking ship!”

I proved her to be a liar and she had to cough up $10 thousand. I’m now looking forward to making sure the charity gets the money.”

What charity? Well, in a previous interview with Radar, when Manigault was still waiting on her check, she laid out plans for the money, including giving some to her church, and to her late love Michael Clarke Duncan’s memorial fund.

“I’m a Baptist so I’m going to tithe 10% to the church. Then I work with the Fred Jordan Mission and at Thanksgiving our church gives out a lot of turkeys so I’m going to buy a lot of them. I can make a lot of people happy on Thanksgiving. The rest will go to Michael’s foundation.”

Definitely glad she received her money, because I was a bit skeptical that Frankel was really going to fork it over the way they were going back and forth. But do you think Manigualt was used by Frankel to drum up ratings for the show (which was in struggle mode for viewers)? Let us know what you think below.
