We’re well into what’s known as “Cuffing Season.” It’s the time of the year, just after summer has ended, when men and women are looking to cuddle up with their new boo…in the house. Typically your cuffing season boo is not necessarily a real, legit relationship. It’s for a season. The fall to winter– not to impede on Valentine’s Day. If you’re not sure if you’re a cuffing season relationship, here are some signs.

I agree with #10.. Several years ago I when out with this guy and we actually did ran into one of his friends and he didn’t even introduce me… I knew then exactly where I stood and decided to enlist a third party to end my date. This didn’t bother me at all. I was glad that I know those “signs”…Ladies if you are interested in a guy..study him first, if at all possible. Watch how he treats other women and interacts with other people, co-workers, listen to his communication. Is he rude, does he lie, does he trash people behind their back. We will save ourselves a lot of headaches

I’m not understanding why this is written from the perspective as if a woman can’t be the “cuffer”

I can’t get past all the ads to read the article. I never heard of cuffing season either.

This article is so ridiculous and contrived. I’ve never heard of cuffing season, if there is really a such thing. Hookups can happen any time of year. The usual “smart-girl” rules apply.

It depends on where you’re located and your age. In my age group, and living in DC (where the winters are cold), “cuffing season” is very real.

In Atlanta, cuffing season is really real. No age requirements. No one really cares about having real relationships, just “company”.

No cuffing season exist. I’m 20 and I remember that my little cousins who are so called players partake in this tom foolery all the time. They purposely break up with the girl in late January to avoid buying her a V day gift and and they dnt answer their phones on Holidays before that. I wish I could help the girls they date but my cousins may say I’m disloyal. smh
