With Halloween on its way, many people have already begun thinking about what they are going to wear, the sweet edibles and how they will decorate their home. It’s one of those times of year where the lines between fantasy and reality merge together. The question is how prepared will you and your wallet be? After all, Halloween is a billion dollar business with people prepared to dress like Despicable Me minions, Breaking Bad characters and Miley Cyrus.

The truth of the matter is while Halloween is a fun time, it’s only one day out of the year. Spending too much just may cause a few setbacks when trying to save for the holidays. Should you want to get in on the action without breaking the bank, here are some ways to save money this Halloween.
