Where They Do That At? Jermaine Jackson Cops A Ferrari And Has Wages Garnished For Child Support… All In One Day
Celebs say and do the darnedest things.
On the very day that Jermaine Jackson became the owner of a 2009 Ferrari, which he reportedly paid $160,000 for, his wages were garnished for unpaid child support. The way the story is being told, Jermaine traded in his Rolls Royce for $90,000 and paid the $70,000 difference. According to TMZ, the mother of Jermaine’s children, Alejandra Jackson, obtained a court order, which allowed the government to withhold $3,750 from the 58-year-old singer’s wages. Court documents reveal that Alejandra has experienced trouble getting Jermaine to pay child support in the past. $3,000 was withheld for the regular monthly payment and $750 was from past due payments.
She obtained the order after Jermaine fell behind on his monthly payments, yet again. The order also permits the government to continue garnishing $3,000 of his future wages to cover the monthly payments. Jermaine has yet to comment on the order, but we’re guessing he’s not too happy about it. According to TMZ, Jermaine’s mother, Katherine, was livid when she learned of her son’s huge purchase. Some speculate that he blew the cash so frivolously because his mother was in the middle of the Michael Jackson wrongful death lawsuit and he suspected that she’d come into a lot of money because of it. Unfortunately for him, that wasn’t the case. Word on the street is that Katherine is constantly bailing him out of debt.
Geez, talk about priorities!
