Her Ratings Reign! “The Queen Latifah Show” Receive Higher Ratings Than “Bethenny”
All hail the Queen!
The LA Times reports Queen Latifah’s new talk show has averaged 1.8 million viewers an episode during the first week it premiered. Her talk show debuted September 16 but is already a daytime favorite. “The Queen Latifah Show” has outperformed the talk show it replaced called the “The Doctors” and advertisers are reportedly willing to invest in her show because she is a reliable brand that will attract consumers through daytime television.
The ratings of Queen Latifah’s hour-long talk show bypassed that of another new talk show on the circuit, “Bethenny” which is hosted by Bethenny Frankel of the “Real Housewives Of New York.” During her show’s first week, Queen Latifah interviewed Jamie Foxx, Will Smith, John Travolta and Jake Gyllenhaal, which turned out to be a winning combo for her. She’s right on the heels of another one of our faves, “The Steve Harvey Show,” which, according to the LA Times, is bringing in 2.1 million viewers per day.
Congratulations to Queen Latifah! Have you been watching “The Queen Latifah Show”?
