I think it’s safe to say that we all saw this coming, but in case you weren’t sure, Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada says her friendship with costar Tami Roman is pretty much a done deal.
“We don’t speak, we don’t text, we don’t talk. I don’t have anything negative to say about her, she’s just not someone I choose to have in my life, that’s just how I feel,” the 37-year-old Brooklyn native told Global Grind.
She also addressed a scene from the current season where it looked like her dispute with Tami would come to blows, but she remained calm.
“Some of us made efforts to change because there was a lot of controversy with last season. And then, all that happened in my life. It just forced me to look at my life and kind of calm down. I’ve done therapy and life coaching. I’m just not in a space to be arguing with you because I have a finger up, like it’s not that deep to me,” Evelyn said.
“I have other things going on and I made a conscious decision to change, so I’m not going to show my a** and look like a fool because I’ve done a lot of that.”
Evelyn also suggested that Tami overreacted to their disagreement.
“I think 99.9% of the viewers [didn't understand why she got so mad]. I’m just choosing to leave that alone. We filmed, we had a great run. It was fun to film with her at times, she brought a lot to the show. But as far as like a friendship, she’s not someone I would want to be my friend.”
And there you have it.
