It hasn’t even been a year since Tamera Mowry-Housley gave birth to her adorable son, Aden, and she’s already making plans for baby number two.

“I am planning on having a second baby. My doula says the 10-month spot is the sweet spot because I’m having so much fun with my son. He sleeps through the night; he’s mobile, but not to the point where he’s breaking my back. That’s usually the time that people are like, ‘Okay, I’m ready for No. 2.’ That’s where I am right now,” the 35-year-old first time mom told OK! magazine.

She went on to say that if she is lucky enough to conceive twins this time, she would be thankful, but added that twins can be quite a handful.

“If I was blessed with twins, of course, I would be very grateful and very happy. However, having twins is a lot of work, so I physically—or mentally—can’t imagine taking care of two at the same time.”

Being a twin herself, Tamera also offered advice for anyone who may be raising twins, regarding the importance of individuality.

“It’s a lot of work. Make sure that people don’t see them as one person…It’s important to realize that they may look alike… and they may have come out at the same time, but they’re individuals. Treat them that way.”

Those Mowry girls love being moms, that’s for sure!

If I had a doula and a nanny I wouldn’t mind having a second one. But with my husband at work, it’s just me and its a handful.

    • Sam

A doula is not a nanny they assist you while you are pregnant give you tips help plan for your baby sometimes they are in their when you give birth than after that they are done I know plenty of women who do actually have baby’s and they aren’t rich hire a teenager they will work for cheap

It’s always beautiful to see happy parents, of sound mind and means to care for and love a child. I just wish more people would adopt!

    • Sam

      Have you adopted ?

      • Erica Kane

I would like to! I can’t imagine having one of my own. As long as the man I marry is cool with it, I really wouldn’t mind. Several of my family members are adopted. It’s all love.

She can’t get an acting job so she may as well have another baby. Having a baby is what has kept her in the spotlight. Use it to her advantage! It almost worked for Troy McClure on the Simpson.

    • Erica Kane

      LMAO! “Troy McClure”?!

    • Sam

You sound pathetic I’m pretty sure she has a lot more going on than you do going on blogs and making negative comments just because u don’t see her as much as tia doesn’t mean she isn’t working so women actually enjoy raising kids more than working what’s wrong with being a stay at home mom ? It’s the hardest job in the world and by the way if you were a fan of hers you would know that she will be directing a movie and also staring in one starting next year people work while their pregnant and I’m sure she is not having babies just your pleasure get over yourself

      • bigdede

Sam honey, why are you so mad? I’m only going by what SHE SAID on her REALITY SHOW! She said she couldn’t find an acting job. When did I say anything was wrong with being a stay at home mom? Where in my comment do I say that? Calm the freak down. I’m going by what she has said about her career. Right now, the only time she is in the press is when she is talking about her baby or being a mom. So like I said in my comment, she should continue being a mom because it’s keeping her in the press! Also I don’t need her to have a baby for my pleasure. Get over myself? I was just making a comment, you the one in your feelings regarding a comment which is just my opinion. That I’m entitled to have

Well said!!!!! Love Tamera her son is a cutie!

I love Tia and Tamera–but really, your doula told you??? If you are having so much fun with Aden–who hasn’t even reached some major milestones yet–why don’t you focus on devoting your time to him instead of having another and having to split your time and focus? Hard to have an entertainment career with 2 babies in diapers.

    • Sam

She is getting older she is oldest 40 years old so women do not want to continue having children in that age you have to listen to your body the older you get the harder it is to have a baby and some women don’t want to have a big gap between Children their are always going to be important things going on milestones with a child doesn’t mean you have to wait their are plenty of mothers who have young children and are great mothers to both

      • realadulttalk

She just turned 35–how are you pushing her to 40 already??? And sorry, I don’t agree–each child needs a certain amount of time and nurturing before you go popping out another.

  • ok

It makes sense. She doesn’t really have anything going on, so why not?

  • Raimi Nicte

The Mowry twins are my friends in my head. Many blessings to Tamera and Adam! I believe Tia and Cory are trying too! Great to see positive, successful women

    • YoNess
