If you ask Evelyn Lozada, she’s the reason Basketball Wives has had success. We told you earlier this week that she spoke to Huffington Post Live and said that she wouldn’t do the show after the end of this fifth season because she is ready to get a spin-off:
“I know I can carry my own show, pretty much carried this one.
I would do my own show because I know I would have creative control. I’m in a different space. I’m open to doing a spin-off, but just not with a cast of women.”
Evelyn certainly doesn’t play well with other women. For example, on top of making such statements about carrying the show, she also threw some shade at Tami Roman (who also claims that she’s not coming back to the show), saying that the firecracker of the show has to talk about Evelyn just to get interviews.
Roman caught wind of these comments, and as usual, took to Twitter to share her two cents. Basically, in a calm manner, she told Evelyn that she needs to be more humble and that the only reason she ever brings up Ev’s name is when she’s asked about her in her interviews:
After posting such Tweets (which she later deleted), Roman posted a photo on her Instagram that said, “Cut off fake people for real reasons, not real people for fake reasons.” In response, Lozada tweeted this:
These two know they are way too grown for all this, but alas, Twitter (and Instagram) can bring the worst out of some if they let it. Do you agree that Lozada has let BBW fame go to her head? Or has she really and truly carried the show all five season?
