In attempt to destroy something that meant a lot to his ex-fiancé, a man ended up setting himself on fire and wound up dying of his injuries.

A man named Luis Evans, 19, was seen leaving a psychic business on Sunday evening in West Park, Florida.  At the time he was seen jetting away from the scene in his black Pontiac, the business had smoke pouring out of it, so the witness called police. Firefighters were able to contain the damage so that the business, owned by Jennifer Tanner, 26, wasn’t completely wiped out. After stopping the fire, authorities found evidence that not only did someone purposely start the fire, but they were likely burned in the process. Turns out it that was Mr. Evans, who in a lover scorned role, decided to burn down his ex-fiancé’s place instead of moving on and moving forward. Unfortunately, he was burned trying to tear up Tanner’s business.

Tanner received a call from a friend saying that Evans showed up at that individual’s home in Miami burned severely. He was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital by Miami Fire Rescue where he died from his injuries on Monday. Sadly, Evans became a victim of his own crime, and at such a young age too…

If he was still alive, that fire would only be the beginning of things to come.

He did his ex a big favor by accidentally killing himself because if he hadn’t I’m sure he would have stalked and harassed her for years to come.

Nothing good ever comes from rage and anger stemming from a break-up. This young man intended on making his ex’s life miserable and he lost his in the process. Sad tragic story.
