Siohvaughn Funches-Wade Petitions To Have Divorce Settlement Nullified And Gag Order Lifted
It looks like Miami Heat player Dwyane Wade and his ex-wife, Siohvaughn Funches-Wade may be heading back to court. Back in July the former couple settled their long-lived divorce battle. According to the agreement, Dwyane would break Siohvaughn off with a hefty chunk of change and in return, Siohvaughn allegedly agreed to a gag order, which would prohibit her from publicly bashing her ex-husband and their relationship. Two months later, Siohvaughn is reportedly challenging the agreement, claiming that she never agreed to several terms of the settlement, including the gag order.
TMZ is reporting that the troubled mom recently filed legal paperwork requesting to nullify the settlement, which would mean the two have to sit down again and try to come to some sort of agreement. According to Siohvaughn, if her ex-husband is allowed to speak negatively about her in his book, then she should be allowed to do the same. It will be interesting to see whether or not the judge presiding over this case will grant her request.
While no one can truly speak on Siohvaughn and Dwyane’s situation because none of us really know what went down behind closed doors, it’s pretty obvious that she refuses to let him go and will do anything to keep him in her life— even if it means dragging him back and forth to court hearings.
