Won’t He Do It!? Chad Johnson Finally Gets A New Job

September 10, 2013  |

While he might not be playing actual football on a football field for the NFL, Chad Johnson is about to get a steady paycheck again by talking about football. Fantasy Football that is.

First and foremost though, if you’re asking what fantasy football is, the definition according to fantasyfootballxtreme.com is, “a game where the participants (called fantasy owners) draft a team of real-life NFL players and then each fantasy team scores points based on all those real-life players’ statistical performances.” The more you know…

Anywho, according to TMZ, Johnson will work alongside a panel of fantasy football connoisseurs for CBS Sports, and they’ll share their opinion on all things Fantasy Football, because the whole game is bigger than I thought. He tweeted his excitement about his new job saying, “Dear 3 million + followers I have a job now, can thank/follow —> @daverichard @HorowitzJason @JameyEisenberg @CBSSports” After making the announcement, he got right to work, even answering fantasy football questions for followers on Twitter (yes, it’s that deep).

If you’ll recall, Johnson lost his livelihood playing for the Miami Dolphins after he was arrested for domestic violence when he head-butted then-wife Evelyn Lozada. Since then, they’ve divorced, he’s apologized and gone to jail for a hot second, she’s talked about the domestic violence incident to Iyanla, Amy Robach and a whole host of other folks, they pretended to make up then broke up, and of course, it has been a major part of the new season of Basketball Wives. But despite all the drama surrounding that incident, Seems that Johnson is finally getting himself together again. Congrats!

I have he has grown up and can make the best of this new job. Watch what you say on Tv.
Plus stay away from Evelyn Lozada. She is toxic.

There’s nothing less legitimate about it. Fantasy football is all about analyzing stats and matchup based on players performances.

I hope he don’t get up there and act a fool or say something stupid and foolish.

I like Chad & wish him the best of luck!!! I just hope CBS put a clause in his contract stating ,”he CANNOT be on Twitter”, unless it’s work related. 🙂

    Good for him!

He definately has the gift of gab. Hopefully, him and Ray Lewis will do well talking about the game they once loved to play.

Congrats. I was hoping it was a football team but you’ll never know

    • Nope

Yeah, I agree. The man can still play. Hopefully the Cowboys pick him up at some point since they have a strong history of picking up outcasts.
