Nice Watch You Got There: Tyga Accused of Stealing $91K Worth Of Diamond Jewelry
Jason of Beverly Hills (JBH), a swanky jeweler with A-list celebrity clientele, was allegedly duped by Tyga after he borrowed a diamond watch and chain last year—and never returned them. They are suing him for $91,000 plus late fees, TMZ reports.
The multi-million dollar operation that has served Kim Kardashian, Beyonce, Diddy, and even Michael Jackson, said that Tyga—real name Michael Stevenson—agreed to pay a $28,275 down payment for a diamond pantheon watch in August of 2012, but still has not paid off the timepiece. JBH also claimed they lent him a $63,000 diamond Cuban link chain in December, 2012. But Stevenson has yet to return the jewelry or make any payments to JBH.
After a year of being short-changed by Stevenson, Jason of Beverly Hills filed a lawsuit against the rapper for $91,000 plus late fees, which amount to a whopping $185,306.50. Whew! Keeping up appearances will cost you.
This isn’t the only case that Stevenson has to deal with. Recently, he was sued for $20 million for exposing the bosom of two video vixens in his “Make it N*sty” music video. Each pair of breasts apparently cost $10 million each (haha!), according to TheDrop:
[They] alleged in their suit that when they auditioned to star in the rapper’s video they were assured no nudity was involved and it would be “tastefully shot.” However, an uncensored version of the Alex Nazari-directed clip leaked on the Internet and the women’s nipples were not covered.
With legal trouble cornering the YMCMB rapper at every turn, he’s gotta hope his deteriorating career begins to invigorate sometime soon to get his stacks up.
