Scandalous Celebrity Families

The Kennedys

So many untimely deaths haunt the Kennedy family that most people say they are cursed. President Kennedy’s father, Joseph, outlived all of his sons, except for Edward. His daughter Kathleen died in a plane crash in 1948. Both of his sons were assassinated: President Kennedy in 1963 and Senator Robert Kennedy in 1968. In 1984, Senator Robert Kennedy’s son David died of a coke overdose. His other son, Michael, died in a skiing accident in 1997. Two years later, John F. Kennedy, Jr,. the former president’s son, died in a plane that crashed into the Atlantic. Most say this generational curse is karma for the political and familial scandals the family has been involved in for years.

I’m surprised the Gordy family wasn’t on this list… Marvin Gaye married Berry Gordy’s sister who was 18 years older than him, and they adopted her (and Berry Gordy’s) niece’s son and named him Marvin III, who didn’t find out who his real parent’s were until after Marvin had passed. Also, Diana Ross became pregnant with her first child by Gordy, but got married to someone else while she was two months pregnant, and her daughter didn’t find out until she was thirteen that Berry Gordy was her real father.

  • Wanda Simpson

President Kennedy’s brother died in combat not his father. this is a very important event. please correct. His father lived a long life.

  • Brie

President Kennedy’s father did not die in combat in 1944, however his oldest brother did.
But since the information on the first page is incorrect I won’t waste my time reading any of the other pages of the article because they might have incorrect info on the too. Pleas do better!

OH MY GOODNESS! This is absolutely ridiculous! President Kennedy’s father did NOTdie in combat in 1944, he died in 1969. He was considered one of the Robber Barons of the 19th/20th century, having made a fortune in investments. Furthermore, since President Kennedy was born in 1917, his father would have been too old to be in combat in 1944. Geesh!! This is just plain trifling and shoddy!
