A couple of days ago, Taylor Bennett, rapper and younger brother of Chance The Rapper, shared with the world that he had welcomed a newborn baby.

Later, he posted another image of the woman who helped to make it all possible. When The Shade Room posted the news, the post was immediately flooded with questions and even some ignorant comments that were the results of equal part confusion and people legitimately trying to be funny.

But in the message in which Bennett addressed his sexuality, he was very clear about his sexual preference.

At the beginning of last year, Bennett tweeted about his sexuality:

“Rising up I’ve at all times felt detached about my sexuality & being attracted 2 one intercourse & at the moment I wish to brazenly come out to my followers,” he tweeted. “I do acknowledge myself as a bisexual male & do & have at all times brazenly supported the homosexual neighborhood & will preserve doing so in 2017.”

But for some reason, people act like bisexual means exclusively homosexual or they somehow don’t understand the concept. See what they had to say, what the people who corrected them had to say and Taylor’s response to the “confusion” on the following pages.
