You keep to yourself
It’s one thing to be shy, but it’s an entirely other thing to be one of those women that keeps to herself no matter where you’re at or what’s going on. If you lead a sheltered life, you can’t expect many men to notice you. You don’t have to be a social butterfly to catch someone’s eye, but you have to at least step into the light so someone can see you.
