You may have heard Wendy Williams dishing about her wig line. She released a few styles in a limited collection and now the popular television talk show host is ready to officially debut Wendy Williams Hair World Wig Collection.

The self-proclaimed “wigologist” has partnered with  one of the country’s largest wig retailers Specialty Commerce Direct to market the line, which was created by Williams herself.

Most people are already familiar with the various wigs Williams likes to wear on The Wendy Williams Show.

Hair is a whole world. It’s the wigs, it’s the things that you use to brush them and clean them, the products that you use – wigs and hairpieces help you find and get the hair that fits your style and personality,” says Williams in a press statement.

Williams joins a long list of African American celebrities with wig collections, such as Beverly Johnson, Sherri Shepherd, and Vivica A. Fox. But Williams says hers is different — Wendy Williams Hair World is intended for women of all ethnicities and includes style options for every skin color, personal style and preference.

“Beauty is about diversity,” Williams says. “No matter what their style, attitude or skintone, all women are beautiful, and my goal with this line is to help them look and feel their best.”

There are 12 styles of the Wendy Williams Hair World Collection available through Especially Yours, a retailer of Specialty Commerce Direct. In all there is a total of 56 pieces – including wig styles, weaves, hairpieces and accessories–on sale. Wig prices range from $49.99 to $999.

Would you pay almost $1,000 for a Wendy Williams wig?
