Tina Turner has opened up about her marriage — a lavish nuptial celebration that took place earlier this month – to Hello! magazine,
Turner, 73, married German music producer Erwin Bach at their home in Switzerland, which is nestled on the banks of Lake Zurich.
In photos exclusive to Hello!, Turner reveals her unusual green and black wedding gown – plus her equally quirky dress instructions for female wedding guests, which included media mogul Oprah Winfrey.
Turner first spotted the frock at a Giorgio Armani fashion show in Beijing. “I thought, ‘I gotta have that, even if I never wear it,’” Turner told Hello! “Then I thought, ‘I know, that will be my wedding dress!’”
The bodice of the cap-sleeved gown is embellished with Swarovski crystals. Turner wore sheer leggings with the piece, which features a trendy high-low hemline with volumes of black tulle cascading over green draping. The shorter portion of the hem at the front of her gown displayed Turner’s world-famous legs.
