Bill Cosby was once known as one of America’s favorite dads, largely because of his role as Heathcliff Huxtable on the hit television series, “The Cosby Show” and even his appearances on the spinoff, “A Different World.” In real life, the father of five lost his only son, Ennis, in 1997. The 27-year-old Columbia graduate was changing a flat tire on an early January morning when he was murdered. The killer was caught and sentenced to life without parole. The role of Theo Huxtable on “The Cosby Show,” played by Malcolm Jahmal Warner, was based on Ennis.
