WIth this song, those Justin and Robin comparisons are not going to stop anytime soon. HIs new track, “Take It Easy on Me” is a straight techno record. It would have fit right in place on Justin’s Future Sex Love Sounds album and sounds like a Daft Punk produced it.

Now, this might sound like a turn off. And I will admit that it’s shocking at first but by the time the track hit the one minute mark, I was bobbing with just a slight bit of hesitation and when the song was over, I was ready to listen again.

Robin is doing a new thing but I would still argue that the vocals are soulful and engaging… even if it’s just through curiosity.

Check out the track below and let us know what you think.

Robin Thicke’s album Blurred Lines is expected to hit stores on July 18th.
