Beyoncé has graced the covers of countless magazines in her day, but her latest spread with Flaunt Magazine is one that I predict will be etched into the minds of many for years to come. I mean, it’s not everyday that you see King Bey completely nude looking like she just rolled around in a bed of glitter. The photo shoot themes chosen by the magazine for Bey in this particular issue are rather interesting, but what’s even more intriguing is the actual interview, during which she speaks pretty candidly about a slew of different topics. Find out what the “Grown Woman” singer thinks of magazine sex columns, the backlash she received for partnering with Pepsi and being considered a “gay icon” below.

On what items are necessary for a risqué picnic:

“A cozy blanket, red wine, fruit, ’90s R&B playing on my iPod. I don’t think you need much else.”

On being considered a “gay icon” like Barbara Streisand, Judy Garland, Cher and Madonna:

“I’m flattered if I’m in the company of those great women. I think they love that we are bold, unafraid to love, and flaunt our sexuality and strength.”

On being impersonated by ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ star Tyra Sanchez:

“No conflict. I love it and Miss Tyra is fabulous! ”

On millenials being considered self-centered “slacktivistis” [people who are activists online but not in the real world]:

“At my concerts I see the opposite. They are engaged in making a difference. We have collected tons of donations that will go towards creating jobs and helping people get jobs. That’s something I want to celebrate. For Chime for Change we raised awareness and over $4 million in one day for equal rights for girls everywhere. So many people at that concert were young. They are more socially responsible than they get credit for.”

On the Pepsi endorsement backlash:

“Pepsi is a brand I’ve grown up seeing my heroes collaborate with. The company respects musicians and artistry. I wouldn’t encourage any person, especially a child, to live life without balance.”

“When you work out, take care of your body, rehearse as hard as I rehearsed in the commercial, I think it’s great to have a Pepsi or Diet Pepsi when you want one. It’s all about choices.”

On her favorite piece of clothing:

“A white T-shirt.”

On her “carefully sculpted image:”

“I have chosen to keep certain aspects of my life private. But I also love sharing what makes me happy, especially through photography.

On her favorite sex scandal:

“Antony and Cleopatra. The legend of that love affair affected history and lives to this day.”

On which architectural structure she’d love to make out in:

“The Louvre, or under the Arc de Triomphe. Paris is a beautiful, s*xy city.”

On magazine features that offer tips for pleasing one’s lover:

“If you have to read those lists, you’re already in trouble.”

On what bores her:
“Lack of creativity.”

Beyonce cannot stand not being in the spotlight, damn the music she needs that spotlight of her getting attention for her body. All her covers lately have been like king magazine and talking about nothing artistic, really profound or anything different, same stuff different cover.. Its funny in the Q&A or in any interview where she talks about nothing she never has talked about Kelly’s song or anything but herself. So Kelly Sidenote stop talking about the song. She wants people to crave and hunt her down for any info about her life, because when no one is looking or asking she “opens up” then when questions come shuts down. LOL! Ok Bey. Everyone goes hard on other celebs when they pose this, calling them thirsty. she is no different from any of them in the respect that they all do it for SHOCK VALUE and ATTENTION!
Any time her buzz dies down we get something so opposite from what she says she is or represents or stands for. She offers and hints at the private parts of her life then plays that whole “why I am so discussed and why am I talented? crying game. Its tired now.. I think her performances are amazing but past that I don’t care. I guess because she is making millions she is validated by that alone to so many. Sadly artists today would much rather do this for attention than to be profound and innovative in music…

I just love that last photo… People can hate on her all they like but this is a beautiful woman

I actually like every photo except the last one lol I think she is gorgeous total-package wise, but once I focus on her face, she begins to look average to me.

No I have it too. Its like girl seriously. She loves to open up when no one cares then in the next interview make a big deal about being discussed. I am not trying to block her hustle I am just saying …. damn.

“On What Bores Her: Lack Of Creativity”.
    ___

    1) I am perfectly sure that I am not the only person trying to dissect the irony of that answer Beyonce. It took ‘seven people’, along with yourself, to write/create ‘Run The World (Girls)’ another ‘nine people’ contributed to ‘Diva’ and a mere two months ago you released two songs of which you said on your facebook page were a ‘process’: ‘Bown Down B*tches and I Been On’. They’re not exactly songs that I would represent as ‘creative’.

    2) I see many other contradictions within this Q&A but they’re not worthy of addressing.

    3) I find that picture to be very ‘tasteless’, even for you Beyonce. But… Good luck nonetheless.

lol her answers are hilarious ;the only people who are going to drink her kool-aid ,swallow and smack their lips is the bey-hive,i admire her work ethic but some things behind her hard work are a tad-bit bull-

as for her sexy image,at what point do they border on stripperrish?,am so sure another woman duplicating her image would be called out on so many levels, how she has manged to show everything but her n–ples and private parts and still be deemed as a classy woman is beyond my comprehension

isn’t it embarrassing that the male members of her family plus their friends have viewed her body,in levels that only a husband should?can jay-z be cool with this?photoshop or not?

would jay-z and her be okay if blue decides to duplicate the same image as his wife. at what point do we draw the line on s–uality,s–iness and sensuality and at least preserve something for ourselves because we cannot have reched that point where classiness/s–iness is everything but showing nipples, butt, private parts and the rest of the woman’s body is fair game?

      i am confused
