Rapper Nicki Minaj turned heads when she showed up to the red carpet dressed in a red hooded cape. Escorting the former “American Idol” judge was a Pope impersonator. Many were confused by the costumes but when the New York native took to the stage later and performed the song “Roman Holiday” complete with a staged exorcism, things became clearer. Perhaps Minaj was aiming to top Lady Gaga’s infamous egg-incubating arrival to the Grammy’s the previous year.
