Six months after Gregg Leakes proposed to “Real Housewife of Atlanta” Nene Leakes the second time around, the two have re-tied the knot at the InterContinental Buckhead Hotel in Atlanta today, a rep for the reality star confirmed with People magazine.

All the wedding news that dropped about the Bravo star this week makes sense now, as Radaronline released numerous details on the couple’s nuptials from the confidentiality waver guests were forced to sign to what kinds of gifts they were expecting. In other words, we should have seen this coming. Besides we knew a ceremony had to be taking place soon, as the RHOA spinoff “I Dream Of Nene” is already in the works and expected to air this fall.

So far, there are no details on the assumed lavish ceremony or the who’s who among the guests — they weren’t playing about those wavers — but we can only imagine how extravagant things must have been. And we’re glad to see these two united again after getting a divorce after 14 years of marriage only a little over a year ago. Guess we know what those big plans she had this weekend were now.

Congratulations! These two haven’t succumbed to the reality TV relationship curse after all!

I wanted to comment ever-so-badly on the negative comments about Mrs. Nene, but I rarely digress. I don’t know about you all, but every time I watch her I feel a sense of pride. Because here is a woman that has not lied about her past, and has indeed done as she should: make a way for herself and her family. Sure, she’s ghetto, she’s loud, and has been known to be quite obnoxious…but she is always herself (and the self does change). I’ve watched a grown woman prove that you can continue to grow and do better. No, you can’t buy class but you can certainly earn it. Also, “class” is subjective anyway. I’m sure people think the Kennedys’ are classy, but new’s flash: they aren’t, they just have money and notoriety.

Rumor in ATL says that they divorced because Gregg was underwater in real estate investments (remember the housing bubble that burst??). So to protect the new money, they got a divorce until he could settle all the mess he was in and then they could re-marry. Money knows how to protect money hunty!!!!

i don’t know why but to me this wreaks of i-wanna-get-back-in-good-with-nene-because-she’s-rich-now. maybe its just me. we shall see.

Why the hell is this always the type of women that gets married and has everything (but class)? i give up!

Who the hell re-marries an ex? They call them ex for a reason!

I’ve only met a handful of people that have divorced and then remarried. I think they do better the second time around because they are more appreciative of each other. I like these type of stories, however no chance of me remarrying my ex thou!

Ha. We don’t know that she has everything. It’s usually the people that appear to have everything that actually have the least.
