Where would modern-day music be without the talents of Pharrell Williams? As one part of the epically talented production duo The Neptunes (along with Chad Hugo), Williams has helped change the scope of music. And not only has he had a major impact on the songs we listen to on the radio and on our iPods, but he’s also having a major impact on the way we listen to music in our movies as well.

Williams is one of the geniuses behind the Despicable Me, and Despicable Me 2 soundtrack, composing the music with the same finesse he uses to create top R&B, pop and Hip-Hop hits. Just check out the song “Scream” from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack if you need further proof of his brilliance. And if that’s not good enough, you can see more of his great talents through six songs from the ’90s and early new Millennium that you might not have known Pharrell put together for the masses.
