“I Ain’t Got No Worries”: LeBron James Lets The World Know He Cares NOT About His Haters Post-NBA Championship Win
If you have Miami Heat fans for friends and care just a little bit about the NBA, I’m sure you had folks all on your social media all night long celebrating the team’s win with gifs and meme galore. If you were like me, you probably had to log off Instagram early to run from it all (look, I’m still waiting for the Bulls to get their life together). But I won’t front, I’m happy for LeBron, because while I’m not a fan of the “Big 3,” no one can say he’s not the best player in the league and is the definition of a consistent and clutch player. After winning the Finals MVP trophy, he was interviewed about his success and the fact that so many people have something negative to say about him and the Heat. Here’s what he finally had to say in response after three seasons of backlash and after battling the Spurs to the very end and winning his second-straight NBA championship and NBA Finals MVP:
“Listen…for me I can’t worry about what everybody say about me. I’m Lebron James from Akron, Ohio from the inner city, I’m not even supposed to be here. That’s enough. Every night I walk into the locker room I see a number six with James on the back. I’m blessed, so what everybody say about me off the court don’t matter. I ain’t got no worries!”
