Ann Wilson of the female rock band Heart was overweight and was sick of wearing nothing but black. On stage and in everyday life, she found herself hiding behind her sister, who was much thinner. However, after having a gastric band surgically put around her stomach, she has lost more than 60lbs. Now she no longer needs to shy away from the limelight.
