As a competition series, TLC’s “Four Weddings” has turned wedding ceremonies into a form of sport, as four brides attend each other’s weddings to compete for a beautiful destination honeymoon. Tearing apart each other’s nuptial choices, from the bride’s dress to the choice of food at the reception, these brides justify their ceremonies by using a scoring system to rate the other bride’s ceremony, dress, food and experience, seeking to impress the other brides to win a honeymoon vacation.
