Because One Awkward Hook-Up Isn’t Enough: Celebs Who Repeatedly Date Their Co-Stars
Where most of us work, dating on the job is frowned upon. But there’s clearly no such rule in Hollywood. If it weren’t for work hookups, some of these actors wouldn’t date at all. Check out our list of actors and actresses who aren’t afraid to treat the set like a dating service.
Jennifer Love Hewitt
Jennifer Love Hewitt met her baby daddy Brian Hallisay on the set of The Client List where they play husband and wife. But Brian isn’t Jennifer’s first on-screen hookup. In 2003, she hooked up with Paul Nicholls, her co-star in the movie “If Only.” Before that, she hooked up with Diego Serrano in 1999 on the set of Time of Your Life. And she didn’t just limit herself to TV sets. In 2001, she started dating Enrique Iglesias while staring in his video Hero.
Halle and her husband Oliver met while filming Dark Tides in 2010. Nearly 20 years before, she had another high-profile relationship with a different co-star: Wesley Snipes. They met on the set of Jungle Fever. But her first on-set romance is one few people know about. Back in 1989, she dated her Living Dolls co-star Kevin Costner.
How long do you think Ashton and Mila’s secret love bubbled under the surface? They first met on the set of That 70s Show when Ashton was 19, but Mila was just 14. They waited 15 years while Ashton got married and divorced. But Mila didn’t stay single the whole time. She had her own 10-year fling with fellow actor Macaulay Culkin.
One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush took dating co-workers to another level when she dated three actors from the same show. First she dated Chad Michael Murray and then married him — for 5 months. Two years after their divorce, Sophia moved on to James Lafferty — who also starred on the show. A year after their breakup, she hooked up with a third cast mate Austin Nichols — that had to make life on set pretty awkward.
We all know that Angelina’s not afraid to date on set — even if that person is already married. But before her 2005 scandal with Jennifer Aniston’s husband, Angelina was known for dating her female co-stars.
In 1994, she started dating her Foxfire co-star Jenny Shimizu and they were together for 6 years. During a break in that relationship in 1996, Angelina got together with Elizabeth Mitchell, her Gia co-star. Then in 1999, she had a torrid affair with Misty Cooper, her Gone In 60 Seconds co-star.

That on-screen chemistry between Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield on the set of The Amazing Spiderman wasn’t faked. The two quickly fell in love on set.
She also dated Kieran Culkin after starring in Paper Man with him. And In 2008, she dated singer Teddy Geiger after playing in his band in the movie The Rocker.

In 2000, she was rumored to have had an affair with Hayden Christensen after they starred together in the first Star Wars pre-quel. Rumor has it that Natalie has been with more of her co-workers but she’s really good at keeping her business on the low.
Rachel Weisz wed her co-star in The Dream House in 2011. But before that, she dated director Darren Aronofsky and actor Neil Morrissey both of whom she met while on set.
Vanessa Hudgens is proof that one of the by products of playing a romantic lead is developing real feelings for your co-star. In 2006, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens dated for four years after their High School Musical romance bled into real life. And shortly after that breakup, Vanessa and Josh Hutcherson fell in love in 2011 after starring together in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.
We don’t know if we’d call Taylor Lautner’s brief affairs dating, but he’s had a few with his fellow co-stars. He and Taylor Swift got together when they were co-starring in Valentine’s Day. And when Taylor starred with Lily Collins in Abduction, they got hot and heavy for a few months. The 21-year old has only been acting for a minute, but he’s managed to get quite a few on-set flings under his belt.
True Blood stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer steam it up off-set as well as on, but Stephen isn’t Anna’s first co-star romance. In 2005, she hooked up with Broadway co-star Kieran Culkin while they starred in the play After Ashley. In 2001, she and Joaquin Phoenix dated briefly when they co-starred in Buffalo Soldiers.
Shia Le Beouf
When Shia LaBeouf and Carey Mulligan hooked up on the set of Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps, Director Oliver Stone encouraged the relationship saying that it helped promote the film.
And Shia’s made a bunch of directors happy during his career. Shia and Megan Fox got hot and heavy while they were filming Transformers. But his first on-set romance was in 2005 when he and China Brezner dated after starring together in The Greatest Game Ever Played.

But the real-life couple didn’t last. And when the two split in 2006, Rachel moved on to her Jumper co-star Hayden Christensen.

When they separated in 2006, she rebounded with Jake Gyllenhaal, her co-star in 2007’s Rendition — before her divorce was finalized.
