Now this is what you call a good time!
On Friday, actor/producer/writer/entertainer Will Smith and his son, Jaden, were two of the guests on The Graham Norton Show, an extremely popular evening comedy/talk show with celebrity guests. Of course, the Smith men were there to promote their new movie, After Earth.
After conversing, the host, Graham Norton, reminded Will that he was an entertainer and just “by chance,” had two microphones available if he and Jaden were willing to drop a couple of bars.
Young Jaden was up first and did a very cute rhyme. It’s really interesting to see how his career is beginning to mimic that of his father’s long career.
Up next was the “Fresh Prince” and that’s when the party was really set off! He and Jaden, accompanied by Will’s longtime friend and DJ, Jazzy Jeff, performed a go-go version of the theme song for The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
All of a sudden, the music switched over to a very familiar Tom Jones song and Alfonso Ribeiro surprised the crowd with an appearance. Right on cue, he hit them with “The Carlton,” one of the most beloved moments on the television show.
For their final act, Will, Alfonso, Jaden, and Graham joined for the “kung fu” dance. The audience went absolutely crazy.
