It’s Like ‘I Go To Sleep And Wake Up In The Hospital:’ Lil Wayne Opens Up About Seizure Episodes
Lil Wayne was hospitalized last week after experiencing another seizure, but the rapper says he can’t really tell you much about the recurring epileptic episodes because he never remembers them.
“I’m good 100%,” the rapper told said of his current health condition during an episode of MTV’s Rap Fix.
He went on to reveal that he’s totally unaware of the seizures when they occur.
“So everybody knows, I don’t know when it happens. For me, for the actual person, I mean I tell [my people] everyday, ‘Y’all could tell me that y’all was lying.’ Like you know, ‘We lied,’ and I’d have to believe you because I don’t know,” the New Orleans native said.
“You know, I go to sleep and wake up in the hospital. I don’t feel anything.”
Despite being oblivious and blacking out when the seizures occur, the 30-year-old superstar expressed that he really hopes the seizures stop soon.
“I’m good, I just hope it stops happening. No [I don’t feel anything], no warnings, no nothing. I don’t feel sick. I get headaches real bad, but I don’t get no headaches [from the seizures] or nothing.”
Wayne also revealed that doctors have instructed him to get proper sleep and eat right, both of which he says he’s doing.
