We know there are more than enough men out there trying to tell women what they need to do to be in a healthy relationship, but sometimes you just want to hear from a woman who knows what she’s talking about. Enter Natalie Clarice, matchmaker and star of Oxygen’s new reality show “Find Me My Man.”

Every Tuesday Natalie helps two women turn their love lives around on her TV series, so we wanted to pick her brain a bit and see what she can help us with. In our interview we asked her what are some of the biggest mistakes women make, what’s the best way to let a man know you’re interested, and how to not be sidetracked by the fact that h*s are winning right now. Check it out!

taking dating advice from a unmarried, single middle aged woman? NO THANK YOU!

  • Nope

I disagree with how she used “real man”. Just because a man doesn’t want to be with you romantically or emotionally doesn’t mean he’s not a “real man”, it just means his attraction to you doesn’t go beyond the physical. Putting it that way once again spins the situation to be that if a man doesn’t like you back, then there’s something wrong with him.

Also, lets stop saying that the few women with the actual courage and confidence to approach men are “aggressive” and “loose”. This is just a cop out and a way to
there’s something wrong with the woman that actually got the man you wanted (see a pattern here..?). Opening your mouth ON a stranger makes a woman “loose”, NOT opening her mouth to speak to one.

I love the show. Some of the black women on the show that she is trying to help they really need to stop with the attitudes. And you wonder why black men don’t want to be bother with black women.

If we do go with the idea that black women OVERALL are just ANGRY……why is that? no one want to deal with the issue and black men especially…….truth is, Black Men are HELL on Black Women(not all but a gracious MANY)…they would NEVER stay for longer that one fifteen of a millionth of a second if THEY had to contend and deal with what they put black women through……and they want women to do this with style and grace and a huge smile on her face….just for the sake of having them around……and we are over it….so it’s easy to say we have an attitude: Okay, but take onus and responsibility for WHY and maybe we can all MOVE THE HELL ON….

I just love her. She’s funny, but really honest. I really love her show, too. She keeps it real and she does it with class.

Yes! I love her show. Very informative and entertaining. On one episode Natalie told the girl, “It’s okay to show a little cleavage, not the whole damn t*tty!” I died! lol
