Those of you who may have been worried that Meagan Good gave up her day job as a Hollywood actress to be a Christian relationship expert will be pleased to know that she hasn’t. The Deception star was recently added to the cast of Anchor Man: The Legend Continues along with Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate, David Koechner, and new cast members Kristen Wiig and James Marsden, reports Deadline.
Meagan is said to be filling the role of character Ron Burgundy’s boss in the comedic sequel. So far we don’t how big or small the role of Burgundy’s boss will be in the film, but being added to the cast of the humorous flick is definitely a good look for Meagan. Spider-Man 2 and 3 actor Dylan Baker has also been added to the cast, confirms Paramount. Director of the film, Adam McKayy who also co-wrote the screenplay with Will Ferrell shared with Empire that the forthcoming sequel will be based on Ron Burgundy and his crew heading to New York City.
“San Diego is too close to Ron’s heart to go away, but we feel that New York City is the holy grail for all newsmen,” shared McKay.
Filming for the motion picture is scheduled to begin in Atlanta soon. The flick is said be opening in theaters December 20, 2013.
