If you for some reason forgot why Justin Timberlake runs s**t, you might want to check out this very colorful (yet obviously black and white) clip that is “Suit & Tie.”

Behind the camera for this video was big time movie director David Fincher, the man behind movies like Fight Club, The Social Network, and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, and using his great eye and love for dark colors, dark tones, as well as low and wide angles, he helped JT make his big return to the very small screen. In the clip, Timberlake can be seen preparing for a show by practicing some dance steps, playing some chess and eating with Jay-Z before busting out on stage with his best moves, reminiscent of his most recent performance at the Grammy Awards where he brought the track to the masses. It’s been a good minute since we’ve seen the singer dance like that, and he’s still got it!

All in all, it’s the visuals, and Timberlake’s enthusiasm that keep you intrigued with the video. Jay-Z does a lot of sitting, the whole part with the female models writhing on the ground and undressing from their suit and tie was a bit random, and the jumping in the air in suits like something out of an intro to the kid’s show ZOOM, probably wasn’t necessary, but it works. It’s definitely nice to have this fella back on his music ish. And if you’re really feeling what you see and hear, you should pick up his first album in almost 7 years, The 20/20 Experience, dropping on March 19. Check out the video for “Suit & Tie” and let us know what you think below!

Definitely PLAY! I went to find the video after I saw that Oh-so-slick performance on the Grammy awards. Beautiful! I have never bought a jt cd, but I think I am going to get this one! I like his wife well enough, I am only sorry he did not go the way of Robin Thicke… sigh…
