While we still don’t know who really started this little rumble in the parking lot between Chris Brown, Frank Ocean and their friends last Sunday, we do know that Chris feels persecuted and Frank believes that Chris is the one who started it.

While there were earlier reports from an LA County Sheriff’s department spokesperson that Ocean might be seeking to file charges against Brown, according to MTV, he is now saying that isn’t true. Ocean took to his favorite place, Tumblr, to speak his mind:

As a child I thought if someone jumped me it would result in me murdering or mutilating a man. But as a man I am not a killer. I’m an artist and a modern person. I’ll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. Peace, albeit trite, is what i want in my short life. Peace.

That’s definitely a way to let this entire thing burn out from Ocean’s stance.  One could call it very “zen” of him to just let the whole thing ride, especially considering that it wouldn’t take much for anyone to believe that Brown was at fault.

It remains unclear if Brown is considering filing charges against Ocean seeing as though most reports state that Ocean and his friends started it.   Perhaps it is best if they both just accept that they don’t like each other and avoid each other as much as possible.

Oh, to be young, rich and seemingly live with no consequences. Then again, a fight can happen to anyone, right?

When’s the last time you had a fight?

Okay that statement is so lame. I get tired of celebrities with these forced philosophical personas. Anyway there’s no way if someone supposedly jumped me that I wouldn’t press charges…he probably realized it’s more trouble than it’s worth considering it most likely went down differently than he described.

Or this could have something to do with the fact that Chris was actually trying to leave, and Frank did block his way! I guess Chris’ attorney saying he has a video showing that the altercation was started by Frank’s side might make him change his mind on pressing charges too. Should Chris learn to control his temper……..yes but how can you walk away with someone blocking your path? People really need to get over themselves you can’t constantly blame him for his reactions but never place any blame the other side of the altercation. I’m not saying his reaction is always justifiable but we all know people feel they can treat him like crap because of the Rihanna situation. It’s crazy she can forgive him but the rest of the world is carrying on like he went on a murder spree. Get over it.

Frank Ocean is another Chris Brown enabler. OJ felt he was invincible and self destruct to spend rest of his life in prison.

Eh…both should let it die and move on.

i need frank to press charges on that outfit tho…

I like frank,Bump Chris brown, its not always everyone Else’s fault someone need to hold this fool accountable for his actions,i can’t deal.

THANK YOU! Why is it that EVERY time Chris has some kind of altercation (e.g., Rihanna, Robin Roberts, Drake, chair/window) it is always because he is “provoked”? Shouldn’t HE have control over his emotions and behaviors?? And because he was “provoked” it is not his fault?? Ummm…hello…EVERYONE is provoked at some time in our lives (e.g., co-workers, partners, strangers) but everyone doesn’t respond by being physically aggressive and violent. I think Chris is very talented but he has emotional/psychological issues and needs to be held accountable instead of everyone else being blamed for HIS actions.

      • Meyaka

Ill speak from my own experience,People who condone this kind of behavior are themselves in some kind of abusive relationships, and since they excuse their own failures,it’s easy to explain away someone else’s.

i wish i could like your post 10 times.

Rihanna said it best in her Oprah interview. She was worried about Chris not getting the help he needs. Obviously, he still hasn’t gotten help.

We all know Frank is a philosophical, humanist, tree-hugging, pacifist but his statement seemed to be so contrived!

The last time I had a fight was in the 6th in grade in 97′ and that’s only because I was being bullied. I’m 27 years old now. Trouble goes where it is called. Sometimes situations DO just manifest, but on a daily or monthly bases? No, its just the piper.

  • Trisha_B

I wish he would stop talking. He’s not taking the high road, he’s taking the pity party road. W/ the crowd Frank hangs out w/ , i don’t believe his innocent act at all

  • DTJ

Just my opinion: I believe Frank is pulling for the sympathy card. Sometimes those who speak out the most have something to prove and I think Frank is doing just that. The public doesn’t know what happened but we all know Frank doesn’t like Chris. Chris hasn’t said anything since and at this point Frank needs to hush up too

    • guestup@yahoo.com

EXACTLY! Chris is an easy target

    • bigdede

Frank is pulling the sympathy card. Turns out there was a security camera that captured the whole thing. That is why Frank isn’t pressing charges. He isn’t as innocent as he is trying to make himself.

No thanks
