We’re excited if LL Cool J is around just so we can stare at him, but Oprah is giving us a reason to actually listen to what the man has to say. The multi-faceted rapper/actor is headed to the media mogul’s coach to appear on next Sunday’s episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter, where he will open up about his career, marriage, his abusive childhood and the night he protected his family from an intruder in his home.

LL’s wife of 17 years, Simone, will also join the 45-year-old during the interview, as will the couple’s four children, Najee, Italia, Samaria, and Nina.

The special is set to air Sunday, January 27, at 9. Will you tune in?
