Colorblocking is a great way to accentuate your figure, or simply just have fun with fashion. When colorblocking, you can either choose an item that is already colorblocked, or mix two to three different solid colors. White is a great base for color blocking. You can do neutral color blocking with white, pairing it with colors like brown, grey or black OR go the route of pairing it with bright colors.

You can definitely use more than two colors but starting off with two colors is a great way to expermiment with color blocking. When colorblocking with white, black is the obvious second choice. Combining black and white creates a classic and refined look. The colorblocking in the above dress, with the black appearing at the sides, creates an illusion of an hourglass figure.

Make a bold statement by pairing your white with another contrasting color like red. The white certainly pops with the fiery red.

The colorbloacking in this yellow and white dress gives the illusion of a two piece outfit. It’s not a skirt and shirt,  but one item broken up by the bright and cool color palette. With white, it’s pretty hard to go wrong when it comes to colorblocking.

We want to hear from you: how would you colorblock your white pants, white top or white dress?
