Is it just me, or has Kelly Rowland completely ditched the “Like This” lady anthems and “Girl Next Door” stuff for straight raunchiness? I’m not mad at her either, because it seems like some of her best and groove-worthy tracks these days come from her exposing more and more of her sexual side. Case in point, “Kisses Down Low,” a new song the former Destiny’s Child member recently released that even comes with an interesting single image (see above). As the singer puts it: I like my kisses down low/Makes me arch my back/When you gave it to me slow/Baby just like that.

The song definitely sounds like the standard R&B jam out right now. Full of sex, some complex production, and some decent lyrics. Kelly hasn’t really strayed from this new sex-driven formula that seems to work for her, and she definitely seems comfortable with this new image. The track was produced by Mike Will Made It and is a funky one for late night canoodling (if you know what I mean…). Check out the track for yourself and let us know if you’re feeling it, or if the song is a forgettable one.

So is it a pass or play for you? Let us know below!

LOL and may I just point out something.

If this song was under Beyonce’s name, instead of the “I aint mad atcha gurrrl!” comments you see now, it would be “this is soo trashy!”, or “Beyonce should be above these kind of lyrics!”, or “she’s struggling to stay relevant!”.

    I’m sleep tho.

    Kelly, stop.

Just stop. Forcing this sexual, freaky persona hasn’t worked so far, nor will it ever.

No shade at all, but some artists just don’t have the “it factor” for super stardom and she’s one of them, try as she might. I’m sorry.

She can make as many s*x tracks as she wants, but she will never be that big of a solo artist here in the US.
