Love & Hip-Hop NY Reckless Reality Wrap-Up, Episode 1: ‘You Better Check This B****’

Last night, VH1 kicked off it’s third season of “Love & Hip-Hop NY” and let’s just say there was plenty of recklessness to go around. Mona Scott-Young and the cast set a new record for the number of drinks thrown in one episode, let alone the first one. And we wouldn’t be surprised if viewers already picked out cast favorites and pinpointed a few shady characters they could do without this season (*cough Raqi*).     They started fighting too soon! They could have waited til next week at least. And who are these people? There is something about watching a show that’s supposed to be about celebrities. That’s what you expect. It would have been easier to accept if you watching something and you don’t celebrities. Anyway it was off but believe it or not, i like Rich and Erica. I can see it possibly working.

      I was perplexed at this dude saying “FARVA”! I was like “who the eff is FARVA”? Then I remembered last season’s hoodroach Jim saying “MUHVA” all the dang time and put two and two together. *shaking my head*

    I watched the first 22 minutes of it.. I couldn’t watch it anymore, I had to change the channel and will not be tuning back in for the remainder of the season. Everyone seemed to be trying to hard, it didn’t look natural AT ALL. Yeah I know it is edited and perhaps scripted but damn at least the ATL cast and crew kept it interesting from jump. Can’t wait for LHHATL season 2.

    This show lost me last night–after the Atl…they had to come hard or cancel New York–from what they are showing me–cancelling would have been the better option. And why is Olivia back???     It was pretty lame but I still watched lol…
    Tahiry: was trying TOO HARD…at first I was thinking she was being insecure about Raqi but when Joe threw her out, she was acting like a scorned sidepiece, very much how Joseline acted in the restaurant with Mimi and Stevie J.

    Yandy: why did she decide to have a baby with that Man Child with too many e’s in his name? Who leaves their baby shower to attend an all white shower aside from a bum with poor prioritizing skills?

    Olivia: why are you still on the show and where did you buy those kitchen hi-lites??

    Joe: I never knew his head was so small…if Common and Dave Chapelle were able to procreate their son would definitely look like Joe Budden…and what’s with you spending all this energy on your ex gf and sidepiece while your actual gf is seated at the kiddie table?

      Yeah, I have issues with his beard. I couldn’t even concentrate on anything he said, because when the camera was on him all I could think was “BEARD?!?!?!” I mean, every single time I see that man, all I can think about is how strange that beard is. I thought maybe it was just me because no one else seemed to want to acknowledge there was a problem. Now I realize it may have just been collective denial on everyone’s part.
