Last night, Black Voices attended the premiere and after party of Tyler Perry’s ‘For Colored Girls.’
Held at The Ziegfeld Theater in New York City, with the exception of Whoopi Goldberg, who’s performing ‘Sister Act’ in London, and Michael Ealy, who’s out of town, the entire cast (Janet Jackson, Loretta Devine, Anika Noni Rose, Thandie Newton, Kimberly Elise, Kerry Washington, Phylicia Rashad, Macy Gray, Tessa Thompson, Hill Harper, Khalil Kain, Omari Hardwick and Richard Lawson) were present, along with director/ writer Tyler Perry, producers Roger M. Bobb and Paul Hall, and author Ntozake Shange.
