That’s The Way Love Goes: Janet Jackson Officially Engaged To BILLIONAIRE Boo, Wissam Al Mana
Let us all let out a collective sigh of relief and a “YAY!” One of my favorite entertainers is going to be a Mrs., and she will be the wife of a billionaire at that. Guess we don’t have to worry about Wissam Al Mana dating her for her money, he’s got hellas of his own. After nearly three years of dating, the couple, who can often be seen vacaying it up on boats and beaches, are looking to tie the knot in the spring, according to US Weekly. A source told the magazine that Al Mana proposed earlier in the year to the legendary singer, but that Jackson doesn’t wear her ring out, for obvious privacy reasons, and for fear that she’ll lose it. Jackson, who is 46, is said to be jumping the broom with her 37-year-old beau in a multi-million dollar event in Qatar, and Al Mana wants to fly out her extra large family. “He is flying in all of Janet’s friends and family on private jets…He wants to get a top chef to create a custom menu,” says the source.
This will be the third marriage for Jackson, who was briefly married to James DeBarge and René Elizondo, Jr. While there was random speculation and rumors that Jackson and DeBarge had a child together, both parties have refuted the claim, and Jackson has no children from her second marriage. But according to the US Weekly source, Jackson definitely wants to have children, and if she struggles to conceive, she’ll adopt.
For those who are wondering, Wissam is a wealthy luxury-brand mogul, and he’s the managing director of Al Mana Retail. Plus, Wissam is one of the most successful investors in the Middle East, having shares in everything from Saks Fifth Avenue in Dubai and many other places, to his company representing A/X Armani Exchange, as well as a slew of other luxury brands in the Middle East. Damn, Janet sure caught her a winner! After all that she’s gone through in these past few years, we wish her and her soon-to-be husband nothing but the best. But please don’t end up like these other Hollywood couples who spend more money and energy on the big day as opposed to the marriage as a whole. We love you too much for that girl!
