Mama No! Famous Women Who Lost Custody Of Their Kids

- By

Drew Barrymore

So Drew Barrymore may not have been the one to lose custody, but she was still involved in one of Hollywood’s most notorious family squabbles, even before she left her teen years. After her silver screen turn in E.T. pushed her into international stardom, Barrymore became a mainstay of the party scene at a very young age. She was a regular at Studio 54, along with her mother Jaid, indulging in all its drug and alcohol vices in her pre- and early-teen years. Thankfully, Barrymore soon recognized the path she was on and at the age of 15 pleaded with the courts to become emancipated from her mother. The rest is Hollywood history as Barrymore staged a remarkable comeback throughout the 90s and 2000s and has become an A-list actress.
