Celebrities love to throw shade on Twitter, but nothing is more entertaining than when another celeb throws it right back at them. Check out the best celebrity Twitter beefs of 2012.

Chrissy Teigen v. Team Breezy

Team Breezy is agro. All Chrissy said during the Billboard Music Awards this year was that Chris Brown’s performance wasn’t great. Is that really enough reason to threaten to kill a chick? They got so out of line that Breezy had to come in and calm things down. Some people are too crazy to handle 140 characters.

Chris Brown v. Jenny Johnson

By now, we already know how that foolishness went down. I think Jenny Johnson started this mess on purpose to get a few more Twitter followers. Chris is dumb for falling into that trap, though.

Nicki Minaj v. Steven Tyler

I still can’t figure this one out. Here’s what Steven Tyler said to start the beef:

“If it was Bob Dylan, Nicki Minaj would have had him sent to the cornfield! Whereas, if it was Bob Dylan with us, we would have brought the best of him out, as we did with Phillip Phillips.”

Now that was messy on Steven Tyler’s part. But Nicki fired back by calling Steven Tyler racist:

“You assume that I wouldn’t have liked Bob Dylan??? why? black? rapper? what? go f$%& yourself and worry about yourself babe.”

I’m sorry Nicki, but I don’t understand where you’re coming from. It irks me when people play the race card unnecessarily.

Jill Scott v. The Braxtons

The Braxtons are real sensitive. Jill wasn’t even throwing shade their way when she said “Please watch Mary Mary on WE tv. Finally a real representation. Yay!!!!!!!!!”

But the Braxtons chose to take it personally and hit up Jill’s Twitter page with a bunch of catty mess and told her to “get a life.” Jill kept it classy though and shut that yappin’ up by simply saying “u can’t be speaking to me”.

Tamar Braxton and Toya Wright v. K. Michele

This whole whether or not K. Michele took a beatdown mess is just ugly to me. Either there’s a bunch of women protecting a woman beater because they like his wife or K. Michelle is trying to ruin a man to advance her career. Neither one is a win.

Rihanna v. Everyone Who’s Ever Dated Chris Brown

All of Chris Brown’s current and former girlfriends and jumpoffs stay throwing shade at each other on Twitter. And Rihanna is always in it. My favorite was when Rihanna told Karreuche Tran that she would make her her bish. LOL. Rihanna is crazy.

Jon Hamm v. Kim Kardashian

LMBAO at Jon Hamm. He came absolutely out of nowhere with this Kim Kardashian shade:

“Whether it’s Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated. Being a f—ing idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you’re rewarded significantly.”

Kim fired back by saying:

“calling someone who runs their own business, is part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs and creates ‘stupid,’ is in my opinion careless.”

And that just made me laugh even harder because she just supported what he was saying but she was too dingy to realize it.

Joan Rivers v. Rihanna

This made the list because your girl isn’t afraid to shade anybody. Joan Rivers said “Rihanna confessed to Oprah Winfrey that she still loves Chris Brown. Idiot! Now it’s MY turn to slap her.”

That old lady know she wrong for getting up in young folks business. Rihanna took it easy on her and said “wow u really do get slow when you’re old huh?” Those two catty shade throwin’ broads need to get together and do a show.

Game v. Fox News

Neither Game nor the correspondents of Fox News are strangers to unnecessary beef. And when Fox News reporter Michelle Malkin said she found the cover of Jesus Piece “blasphemous” because it featured Rick James as black Jesus, Game went off. Here are some of the beef’s highlights:

#BOYCOTT @michellemalkin NOW ! She’s racist, & makin racial & blasphemist comments about my album. Same b!$&% said Obama isnt AMERICAN RT

@thegame Aw, what’s wrong — is your trashy album not selling? Not afraid of you or your race-baiting misogynist gangstas.

@michellemalkin I make your yearly salary tomorrow in Greece !!! #HipHop provides for my family, my culture & is loved by the world #CatchUp

@thegame I don’t have a problem with all #HipHop. I have a problem with you and your “Beyotch”-bashing, Christ-blaspheming nonsense.

@michellemalkin don’t try to back peddle now !!!! Few days ago you HATED ALL RAP… Now we woke up & youre trying to take it back #TooLate

As far as I know, Michelle Malkin is still reporting. But I have to give it to Game for taking a stand.

Toya v. T-Pain

I’ll say one thing about Toya, she’ll cut for her man even if they’re both dead wrong. This all started when T-Pain’s Behind the Music VH1 special aired and didn’t mention Memphitz who discovered T-Pain.

Memphitz felt some sort of way about it and Toya took the drama to Twitter and said “f–k T-Pain and then deleted it”. But it didn’t disappear before her followers saw it and jumped on the T-Pain shade bandwagon. Then Memphitz jumped in too to support his wife.

T-Pain finally shut it down by saying it was something they could’ve hashed out in private and he had no control over what got cut in the final editing process.

Dream v. Christina Millian

I don’t know which side to take. Christina Millian started this when she called out Dream for allegedly not paying his child support. I can’t get behind not paying for your babies. But The Dream had a point when he fired back that Christina Millian brought it to Twittter for a little publicity because her 15 minutes were almost up.

50 Cent v. French Montana

This might not have been real serious beef but it was real funny. It all started when French Montana did an interview with Complex.com where he suggested that his label mate’s time had passed.  Here are some of the highlights:

Fiddy: “I herd there was a @frenchmontana listening party at Interscope so I’m here,”

French: “Dont come wit da funny tank top on lol,”

Fiddy: “French your Sh-t so weak you never had a song by your self fool. AIn’t nobody’s waiting to hear your verse. Girl. Do you realize this fool @FrenchMontana hasn’t sold one record and talking about sales. I’m not tweeting about this little fool No more. I’m see him and he gonna explain that’s it.”

French: “damnnn homie last year u was da mannnnn homieeeeeee wat da f—— happen to uuuuuu,”

Lol.

Brian McKnight v. Chris Brown

This was the surprise Twitter beef of the year because when’s the last time you heard anything about Brian McKnight (outside of him trying to show you how your p***y works)? Earlier this year, he brushed off his dusty 15 minutes and made a passive aggressive Tweet about Breezy:

“Since everyone’s so opinionated I’m taking suggestions on what I should do next I’m thinking rent a lambo and beat the s— outta my girl…That’s acceptable these days.”

Breezy shot back:

“I see how this works now… When peoples careers get to the ‘nobody cares’ stage they use my name for publicity! lol I can’t keep helping these old n—-. Its a miracle the way I’m bring the dead alive.”

Whatever happened to respecting your elders?

Azaelia Banks & Everybody in the Whole Wide World

Azaelia Banks loves to throw shade on Twitter, particularly to other female newbies in the rap game — or their bosses. Here are some of the greatest hits:

@KREAYSHAWN you’re always tryna be cute and funny but your not built for it. Really you’re not.

@Tip ain’t you the same dude that got photographed butt naked n a pair of sneakers and a beanie???!?!

Rita Ora v. Rob Kardashian

There are a lot of folks who use Twitter Beef to gain a little publicity. Rob Kardashian’s public shading of ex-girlfriend Rita Ora was so fake that we all saw through it in a heartbeat. And these two will go down in 2012 history of having the phoniest Twitter beef to date.
