So often, we hear talk from blogs, magazines, even friends and family that a successful woman intimidates men. “Ladies,” we’re told, “if you have too much ambition, that’s all you’re going to have. Because no man wants to marry an overachieving woman.” What year is it again?

Seriously, that couldn’t be further from the truth. And really, do you want a man that feels that way? Spending a lifetime tamping down your own abilities in order to cater to a sensitive ego doesn’t sound like fun.
