For Rihanna’s dressing room, the diva has made it crystal clear that only blue or black drapes with “icy blue” chiffon draped on top will do. Additionally, the star demands animal print throw rugs to walk on barefoot and 6 special candles to produce a “relaxed atmosphere.” Other meaningless must-haves: white couches and tables, apple pie (a la mode), and yellow roses with red trim.

    It is old news, what these “demands” are really about. Except for Beyonce and not wanting to be spoken to, it’s a way to tell if the crews are going to do the things that will keep you from getting injured on stage. If you glance around the room and you see the small little crazy request met, then you can be assured the safety concerns were met as well.

    Oh yea, I’m sure she is exactly the same person she was before she became something… NOT! I personally dont care for her and the way she comes off. I know people say alot of stuff about how they would be and so on…but i know me and how i would be the same no matter what… i couldnt imagine treating people that way just because i made it in the public eye.

    Who in the h**l do these people think they are??? They’re people with SOME talent, but their fame is fleeting. I’d grant these frivolities to people who have bettered the world (Albert Eistein, Mother Theresa, Albert Schweizer), but these jamoaks??? Hardly…

    I wonder if some of these celebs just dream up these types of demands just so they can get press play just like this list. I know if I was in their position, I would make some outrageous demands as far a food is concerned, but the spread would be for both myself and the venue staff, along with say….30 bottles of moderately priced sparkling wine, something better than Korbel. I would request a few luxuries to make my stay more pleasant, but why should I be the only one to enjoy the stuff I demand, especially when the venue is paying for it.

      I heard an interview with someone from Van Halen, they said the reason they had the No Brown M&M clause was to make sure that the facility had read the entire contract. They were travelling with a huge show with major electrical and structural requirements for the venues. If they found brown M&M’s it was a cue for them to double check everything so they could have a safe show.

    I know Mariah’s demands are crazy. I remember when Wendy Williams was on radio and Mariah came on the show and brought champagne but could only drink it from a glass from Tiffany’s. A MESS!!!

    I used to be the entertainment sales manager at a hotel close to the paramount theater and I can tell you that these requests are true… AND, they expect the hotels to pay for this stuff!!!!!

    Maybe some of them have had drivers that were borderline psycho. Maybe almost crashing because they were staring at the passenger. That’s the only logical reason I can come up with for that demand.

    I’ve never been a fan of Mariah Carey. She gives off this “witch with a broomstick” vibe. She’s thrown shade here and there.

    And as far as Rihanna goes, I used to like her. But then I realized how contradicting and foul mouthed she is.
