If there’s one show just about every black girl and woman in America watches faithfully, it’s Scandal. The hit ABC drama preoccupies just about everyone’s Twitter timeline on Thursday nights and on Friday mornings, show recaps are a must. Oprah has caught on to the craze and she’s invited Kerry Washington, the star of the show; Shonda Rhimes, the creator of the show; and Judy Smith, the inspiration behind the show to chat with her for an upcomming “Next Chapter” special.

According to OWN:

Oprah goes to the set of ABC’s hit television series Scandal in Los Angeles and sits down with actress Kerry Washington and the show’s creator, Shonda Rhimes. Plus, Oprah talks to Judy Smith, the real-life inspiration for Kerry’s character, Olivia Pope, about some of her most infamous clients.

The special will air this Sunday, December 9, on OWN at 9. Check out the preview of the episode below. Will you watch?

I watched 2 episodes and I thought they were really good, but I haven’t kept up with it. I live in the DC area so I don’t care to watch a show about the capitol hill nonsense I’m surrounded by everyday. But congrats to Ms. Rhimes and Ms. Washington, keep doing your thang!
