After a few extremely drama filled months, there’s finally some positive news to report on Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada. Yesterday it was announced that the the 36-year-old reality star has a new job and guess what? It doesn’t involve throwing drinks, slapping folks, bullying or running across dinner tables! Instead, she has been named as Latina Magazine‘s new celebrity fitness blogger.

According to Latina.com, starting next Wednesday the fiery and undeniably physically fit star will be blogging exclusively for Latina in a segment entitled “Latina Fitness with Evelyn Lozada.” During the segment she will be revealing her favorite fitness routines as well as providing tips and information on healthy dieting and her personal diet. Ev took to her Twitter account yesterday to express her excitement and share the good news with her followers. She wrote:

I’m thrilled and super excited to be the new Fitness blogger for @Latina!

I don’t know about you guys but I certainly wouldn’t mind getting fitness and dieting tips from Ev considering the fact that her body is just about always on point. This could be the beginning of something great for her and I could definitely see how her exploring a new arena such as this one could assist in helping her to part ways with the negative stigma that she has somewhat earned over the years. She seems to be moving in a more positive direction….but then again we haven’t seen footage from episode 5 of BBWs yet so that’s still up for debate. Who knows though, maybe one day she and Jen can team up and do something together in the fitness arena considering Jen’s partial ownership in the extremely successful Flirty Girl Fitness franchise. I know I’m probably reaching, but I really would love to see these two back together.

What do you think of Evelyn’s new gig? Will you be checking out her weekly fitness segment for Latina?

And this is here why no offense but I’m not a latina and could care less what she does next.. Why are the people who run this blog still promoting this woman. I come here to hear about strong black women period.

Say it once again. I don’t think they got it yet! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Doesn’t she look the way she does because of plastic surgery, liposuction etc !? Oh well, I wish her well, but no I will not be tuning in weekly for her advice on fitness.

No. I will not be checking her out. MadameNoire, it seems like you write more articles on Kim Kardashian, Evelyn Lozada, Laura and Gloria Govan, and other women of other races than what the website is for. Black women. It seems like what I have read thus far.

  • Yes, she better stay on top of that fitness. Any slip ups and she’s gonna look like her momma. IJS . . .

that’s good for her but chances are she will get a lot of negativity from Latina’s in general and I think it’s a strange thing that all of a sudden she is reconizing her heritage since she has always surounded herself with black people especially black men but money talk and I guess she has too do what a woman has to do and maybe she did learn a life lesson from lyvana and is turning her life around so good for her
