Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown

Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s 14-year marriage was drug-fueled dysfunction to the tune of scandal, arrests, probation violations and court appearances. Their relationship was often compared to Ike and Tina Turner’s own tumultuous 14-year marriage –- an observation that Houston and Brown never appreciated. But although the couple sought to dispel negative rumors, their self-endorsed reality TV show, Being Bobby Brown, seemed to do everything but. The show provided the world an inside look into Whitney and Bobby’s marital train-wreck – focusing particularly on their outrageous drama and bizarre behavior. Houston and Brown’s marriage eventually dissolved, yet the memory of their rocky relationship continues to brand them one of Hollywood’s most controversial couples.

Some people are literally addicted to drama and chaos. If nothing epic is going on they will go out and create it. Everyone knows someone who has just got to be in the middle of some Lifetime movie of the week drama 7 days a week or they aren’t happy.

Some people like the stress. I never understand how people can say, “When things are good, we’re great.” because 85% of the time is terrible.
