Rihanna’s 7-7-7 publicity tour concluded yesterday evening with an apology to passengers in an effort to ensure that there is no bad blood being harbored by fans and member’s of the media that accompanied the singer on her 7-day, 7-country tour aboard her private 777 jet. It seems that fans and press members alike were a little ticked with Rih Rih as they were barely able to spend anytime with her besides brief sightings during baggage claims and for drinks during the first day of the tour. Jeff Rosenthall of  Rolling Stone shared, “We haven’t seen Rihanna offstage since the first day, unless you count her popping up at baggage claim for a few moments on the morning of the second.”

To make matters worst, several members of the media reported that there was minimal sleep and food, which you could imagine probably had folks aboard that flight a bit testy. There were also random reports of an Australian media person who streaked through the plane claiming that he was delirious after going for  extended periods of time without food or sleep. According to The YBF, Rih Rih’s half apology for the drama went something like this:

“I know you guys got barely any dirt. …But I had to be good. I still sound like s**t.”

“I had to preserve my health. Normally, I’d be back here popping bottles with y’all. I had to preserve my voice. I was worried about my body more than partying on the plane, so I had to just sleep whenever I could. I hope you guys had as much fun as I did.”

“It’s impossible to spend time with everybody, and I’m sorry I didn’t. But this was excellent and I would definitely do it again.”

Um glad you enjoyed yourself, too bad no one else did and your passengers are calling the trip a nightmare. And what about the poor living conditions and nearly starving your passengers to death? Maybe she’ll get it right next time.

‘And what about the poor living conditions and nearly starving your passengers to death?’ I’d be laughing if that comment wasn’t so ridiculous. You do know that there are real humans literally starving to death living in hovels right now right? I hardly call travelling round the world, being fed for free, going to 7 Rihanna concerts and getting gifts an equivalent to ‘poor living conditions’ and starving to death. SMH

This goes to show that celebrities only show the public and the press what they WANT YOU TO SEE….Rihanna post pics and makes her life seem like this 24/7 party girl rocker. and the fans and press believe that crap….So they sign up to get on this plane with her like they are going to party all day and all night….DO THESE PEOPLE HAVE ANY COMMON SENSE????…All entertainers are human and working people. Parties look like fun to us…but at the end of the day they want to go home and get in they bed like everybody else after a long fay… Shame on these people for acting like pictures tell the true story of someones life….NOW YALL SEE THESE PEOPLE ARE JUST LIKE YOU AND ME. The END.

Rihanna is a disaster waiting to happen

When you invite fans on a trip, the fans are going to want to spend time with their favorite celebrity. If the celebrity can’t handle that extra duty, then don’t do it. I understand she may have been tired, but it comes with the job.

Are they serious? Rihanna invites you & about 200 other people to fly around the world w/ her for FREE, allowed you to go to her concert for FREE, give you goodie bags that i heard were worth a good chunk of change, & your gonna complain that she didn’t sit down to have girl talk w/ you?! Stop it! The girl was doing 7 tours in 7 countries in 7 days. Any free time she had, she needed to be resting. They mad the whole trip was repetitive what you expect? It’s the same show over & over again. Rihanna has to repeat herself in every interview when yall ask her the same questions over & over again. Now yall see how she feels. I’m sure she fed yall, but they probably was expecting some grand meal. You didn’t have to pay for nothing on the trip, it would not have killed your pockets to pick up something at the airports. They didn’t have to stay the whole 7 days. I hope the interviewers now see that Rihanna is not the 24/7 party girl they think she is. She actually works hard & barely gets any sleep. Now about that man running naked, i’m sure he did it out of boredom & not b/c Rihanna was starving him lol

**I think they are more mad that they didn’t get any real juicy story on the girl. You know they all were hoping that they would see Chris Brown walk on the plane one day, or Rihanna walking around naked, or some crazy off the wall type stuff. The girl was boring so they were disappointed lol

For the simple fact that 7 shows in 7 days already sounds draining, I’m sure the fact that she performed in 7 dang on countries was probably a little excessive! They need to get over it! Smh… anything to bash her, I guess! Whatever… RiRi, do ya thang!

What did the media think was gonna happen? Did they really think they would sharing a blunt with Rih Rih or maybe they thought she would let them take pictures of her comming from the bathroom? Get real she had a job to do and she did it, they were just along for the ride.

This tour was created for the PURPOSE OF MEDIA EXPOSURE. Why would she ignore the people and media outlets she INVITED to write about her tour? The only thing they have to write about now is how f*cked up the situation was.

but it was free ! be grateful ! snap pics and enjoy the fact you got fly around the world in one week? if you worked a seven day work week would you have time to have girl talk ? no you would be sleep ! not taking up for her but geesh let’s be realistic

        • elisebeth

The whole point of this mini-tour was for promotion. She voluntarily invited them. They did not ask to go on this tour. I repeat: she INVITED them, and then refused to give interviews. In other words, this tour resulted in very bad press, the exact opposite of what she wanted. She was tired, I get it. But that doesn’t change the fact that this tour was a disaster.

Was it like 150 people? Who in their right mind would want to entertain that many people ( how much did they pay)? Maybe 20, but a whole plane of people? Thirsty fans are delusional to think Rhi would party for 7 days and perform too! As for the food…..IDK, need more info on that one.
