Wendy Williams has become one of PETA’s newest minions and you know what that means, she’s about to get bucky naked for a good cause.
Like our favorite ladies Nia Long and Taraji P. Henson, Wendy Williams will appear in PETA’s “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” campaign, in which she strips down to the buff for the animal right’s organization. The image baring all of Wendy’s “assets” is said to appear on a Billboard that will launch the week after Thanksgiving.
The NY Post has the first-person scoop, with a friend of the talk show host telling them:
“Wendy used to wear furs, and all types of leathers and more, but she’s had a change of heart.”
Part of Wendy’s speech during a PETA fundraiser at The Standard last night, confirmed just that.
“PETA’s legendary . . . campaign has turned a lot of heads and changed a lot of minds — including mine,” she said. “I, like many people, was unaware of how animals lived and died for their fur, and I wore it without thinking much about it, until PETA came along . . . I’m thrilled to star in PETA’s next naked campaign.”
You can guarantee this will be one of Wendy’s upcoming Hot Topics. Hopefully she won’t start trashing every star who wears fur on her show though.
