It seems like tennis star Serena Williams is fed up with her rapper ex-boyfriend, Common’s new boo thing’s Twitter lurking ways. Earlier this week, the four-time Olympic gold medalist took to her Twitter page with a sub tweet that it didn’t take nosy folks like us a long time to decode.
“Dear “boy” that reads my tweets and tells “The Bread” everything I say. You are pathetic! And what is more I can’t stand you. Get a life! Or blow up”
@common your friend really need to get a life. They already ruined mine. Can they just blow away already?
The Jasmine Brand is reporting that the “boy” that Serena is referencing is actually Common’s girlfriend. Hilarious! Apparently she has some pretty manly features. Many find this to be an intriguing pot-calling-the-kettle-black kind of situation, but we won’t go there today.
“The Bread” is supposed to be Common. According to AllHipHop.com, Serena is calling him the bread-winner in the relationship because clearly Common is the one with cash and she’s claiming the new chick is broke. We’re not sure where all of the animosity came from but that tweet is absolutely hilarious. We feel you Serena. No one wants to be stalked by their ex-boo’s new girlfriend. She could’ve at least had enough sense to be discreet with her tweet watching.
If you all remember, Common and Serena were rumored to have been in a two-year relationship, which ended in April 2010. That same year in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the athlete had no problem explaining why the two went their separate ways. She basically expressed that their schedules were hectic, which limited them from spending a lot of time together, and that Common just wasn’t willing to put in his share of the work to make the relationship work.
“His schedule is actually worse than mine. He didn’t want the responsibility. It’s really tough.”
Maybe she’s still not over that.
