Don’t Believe The Hype: It’s Certainly OK To Be Single

It’s time to take some pressure off your search for Mr. Right.

When we think about love, our soulmate, settling down, getting married and so on, we often recall our childhood expectations. For example, today, most women have careers and are perfectly capable of taking care of themselves. Still, they imagine Prince Charming appearing, swooping them up onto his white horse, riding off to dreamland and living happily ever after.

I have worked all of my life. I never expected a man to take care of me financially, but I sure have always relied on the man in my life to help me with my car repairs, computer problems and any general gadget difficulties. Sure, I have the intelligence to learn how to change spark plugs, but I really love leaning on my man for those things.

  I know right? I’m starting to question the age – and intellectual acumen – of the “authors” on this site. If it weren’t for the witty remarks from you Ladies in the comment section, I would have stopped patronizing MN a long time ago. They seriously need to move beyond their respective comfort zones and write thought-provoking and intellectually stimulating article; instead of the constant high school drivel of “he likes me, he likes me not”.

    as juvenile, why not just go to a site that intellectually stimulates you? One could question the age and intellectual acumen of a woman who supports a site just for “comments” sake. That in itself is very “high school.”

        If the comments are more interesting than the article, then why complain about an article lacking substance? THAT is what doesn’t make sense to me. If the comments entertain you, then who cares what the article is about – no need to attack it if you don’t come to the site for the articles anyway.
